Happy Birthday, Emma Margaret!

Emma's display of her gifts.

Emma turned the ripe old age of nine on Friday, July 10th. She was named after Grandma Rankin and had to share her happy day with the funeral for Grandma. We all thought that it was fitting, though, because she shared Grandma's name. She even got "Happy Birthday" sung to her at the funeral dinner.

Happy Birthday, Emma!!! Can't wait to take you shopping! Even though it was a sad day because of Grandma's funeral, it was a happy day because of your birthday! I'm sure it will be one you will never forget!

Happy Birthday again, Emma!! I'm so glad we got to spend the day with you on your birthday! I think it's really special that you were named after Grandma Rankin and I'm sure she felt the same! What a day for her funeral.
