Fashion Statement

These boots were made for walking! or choring!

Times are tough on the farm when you have to get out of the pool to do chores - no worries for the James Girls they just put on their boots, go feed cows and jump back in the pool again. I don't remember it being that way when we had to feed cows?!

That really is a fashion statement! Pretty soon the stores will pick up on that and all the manequins will be wearing them!

I think your chickies need new boots for christmas this year!

I love it!!! Aren't boots like that in right now anyway! Although I think the fashionable term for them are 'wailies' now! They're all the rage in magazines like j crew!!!

Your girls are so stylish for doing chores!!

I don't know, I don't think you're going to find many (mid-knee high with dried manure on them) boots worn with swimsuits around, even on beef farms. Your girls may really be trend-setters but you can tell who has the "working" boots on!!! I can't wait to see her show at the 4-H show!

It just reminds me of us when we worked out in the barn all summer! Though we didn't have a pool to get out of, we always had shorts, t-shirts, and the good ole slicker boots!!! Remember that..."gotta get me SLickers on!" HA!
Your girls are quite stylish, I must say! I can't wait for her to show her heifers! YAY!!
Love ya and miss ya,
Kim

I love fashion statement!!! It makes me think of my days of growing up showing cattle (even though they were of the dairy variety). The girls in my family used to wear our swimming suits all summer...even when out in the barn milking/doing chores and when practicing leading our animals. It's a good way to get a tan (except for below the knee).

Good luck with your cattle!!!
